Job Description
Bring the energy. Build the community.
About the role
KickHouse York is where people come to kick the day's stress to the curb — literally. Our members show up to sweat, laugh, and leave feeling like absolute champions, and you're the person who makes that happen.
We're a tight-knit, genuinely welcoming studio — the kind of place where staff and members actually like each other. No egos, no intimidating vibes, just good energy and really satisfying workouts.
Flexible shifts but we have an urgent need for early morning classes a couple days a week. If you consider 5am a perfectly reasonable hour to be enthusiastic, we might be soulmates. Other shifts would be included as well.
What you'll do
- Teach kickboxing classes — Lead safe, motivating, and fun group fitness sessions that leave members feeling great.
- Sell memberships and merchandise — Connect with potential members, share your enthusiasm for KickHouse, and help guests find the right membership.
- Support special events — Help plan and execute community events that make KickHouse a place members love to be.
What we're looking for
- Outgoing, warm, and people-first personality
- Genuine passion for fitness and helping others
- Ability to create a fun, high-energy atmosphere
- Reliable and available for early morning shifts
- Eager to learn and grow with the team
Nice to have
- Group fitness instruction experience
- Sales or customer service experience
No kickboxing certification required — we will train the right person.
Ready to join the team?
KickHouse York is more than a gym — it's a community. Come be part of something that makes a real difference in people's lives, one class at a time.
