Accounting Lead
Camp Hill, PA | $73,000 - $91,000 salary + 10-16% performance bonus
Pronto Plumbing, Heating, Air & Drain is growing, and we need a hands-on accounting professional who can keep the financial engine running while supporting day-to-day operations.
This is not a corporate, top-heavy accounting role without great support. We're looking for someone who's comfortable rolling up their sleeves, owning the numbers, and working closely with leadership to keep the business moving forward. If you enjoy being in the middle of the action and not just reporting on it, this role is built for you.
We're a fast-growing residential service company backed by experienced industry investors and a driven leadership team, including a corporate CFO. As we scale, we need someone who can bring structure, consistency, and clarity to our financial processes without overcomplicating things.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Manage daily accounting operations and keep financials running smoothly
- Handle month-end close, reconciliations, and internal reporting
- Prepare clear, accurate financial statements and track key performance metrics
- Monitor cash flow and help maintain financial stability as the business grows
- Process payroll through Paychex and support benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with payroll taxes and employee-related filings
- Maintain the general ledger
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Work alongside leadership to provide visibility into financial performance
- Identify simple, practical ways to improve processes and efficiency
What We're Looking For
- 4-6 years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable owning the day-to-day accounting function independently
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end processes
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration (Paychex preferred)
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial team members
- Organized, reliable, and accountable
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
- Background in home services, trades, construction, HVAC, plumbing, or similar
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan, Sage & Inventory processes
- Experience in a growing company environment
