Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license, with eligibility for school-based practice
- Previous experience in a school environment or pediatric therapy strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills tailored to students of various ages
- Effective communicator and team collaborator with staff, families, and school leadership
- Adaptable and organized, ready to adjust to evolving assignment specifics
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, based on individualized plans
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement strategies that support academic and functional growth
- Maintain thorough session documentation, progress notes, and necessary reports
- Participate in team meetings, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development, and school activities as appropriate
- Serve as a resource for faculty and parents regarding students’ sensory, motor, and adaptive skill needs
