Job DescriptionRole and Responsibilities Reporting to the MLL Team/Principal, the PSOE Language Specialist is responsible for classroom assistance through curriculum implementation, lesson planning, student assessment, data disaggregation, and behavioral management. The Language Specialist provides support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for developing Multilingual Learner (MLL) students' ability to effectively perform courses of study in the English language; supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; assisting in developing lesson plans; delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; and collaborating with teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues. Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with individual student Education Plans, Section 504 Plans, etc. They will ensure operational and functional knowledge of best practices in education, state and federal education law, FERPA and FAPE law, parent relations, behavioral management, documenting and reporting, and process-driven accountability. Responsibilities

<li>Assists the MLL Team with the purpose of supporting the needs of multilingual learners. Provides direct instruction and assessment in small group and individual settings. </li>
<li>Provide substitute support as needed.</li>
<li>Assists with coordinating language proficiency testing to identify students who qualify for MLL programs. </li>
<li>Identifies program needs (e.g. instructional materials and equipment, etc.) for the purpose of providing input to MLL Team that will enhance the MLL program. </li>
<li>Assists in monitoring inventory of instructional materials, equipment, and supplies for the purpose of identifying required items to provide instruction in accordance with the established curriculum. </li>
<li>Participates in meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions. </li>
<li>Assists with preparing a variety of reports and written materials (e.g., ILPs) for the purpose of documenting activities and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. </li>
<li>Responds to inquiries from school personnel for the purpose of providing information, assistance and/or direction related to the grade level or special area activities. </li>
<li>Utilizes data-driven instruction and PSOE educational frameworks to ensure delivery of standard’s driven instruction to all students.</li>
<li>Completes assessments, grading, planning, and conferences with students, staff, and families within appropriate timelines.</li>
<li>Utilizes oversight by the MLL team, Special Education Director, school counselor, and other subcontracted professional staff/outside agencies as needed to identify and understand strategies for support and instruction of students with exceptional needs.</li>
<li>Ensures appropriate classroom implementation of BIP’s, FBA’s, IEP’s and 504 programs. </li>
<li>Completes any additional reporting as requested by the MLL Team, Special Education Director, or counselor.</li>
<li>As assigned, maintains regular family communication.</li>
<li>Completes reports and follow-up documentation as required by administration.</li>
<li>Contributes to keeping updated and documented cumulative folders as ongoing case files for all current students. </li>
<li>Contributes to a strong school education team: serves on school and/or community committees; seeks participation and involvement with direction for ongoing local operations.</li>
<li>Abides by all PSOE frameworks as approved by the CEO and as noted in the staff handbook.</li>
<li>Maintains ongoing, consistent, and supportive communication for the classroom as noted in the school’s frameworks.</li>
<li>Assumes all roles as delegated for a variety of school functions for the purpose of managing the team workload more efficiently. </li>
<li>Utilizes effective systems as delegated to troubleshoot problems, track progress, and regularly evaluate workflow components, so as to measure progress in a way that can be effectively communicated to the team lead.</li>

COMMUNICATION &amp; TEAM WORK
Utilizes appropriate communication methods to keep Distribution Partners (DPs) and Distribution Partner Managers (DPMs) informed about regional, divisional, and banner-level programs and initiatives for their assigned chains.
Regularly visits Distribution Partners to ensure personal engagement and maintain open lines of communication.
Sustains open communication with relevant regional and DP personnel to ensure the successful implementation of programs.
Qualifications 
A minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales and Key Account Management, accompanied by a proven record of success, ideally within the beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors, or Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations.
Experience managing accounts across multiple channels, with grocery and/or convenience store chains preferred.
Demonstrated strong analytical skills and familiarity with utilizing both internal and external data sources effectively.
Excellent communication skills, including active listening abilities.
Proficient in negotiation techniques.
Possesses an innovative and solution-focused mindset.
