Position Overview
As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all nursing operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the highest standards of resident care. You will play a critical part in staff development, quality improvement, survey readiness, and fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
-
Direct and oversee all nursing services within the facility
-
Ensure compliance with all clinical policies and regulatory requirements

Lead and mentor nursing staff, including Unit Managers, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

Monitor quality measures and implement performance improvement initiatives

Oversee staffing, scheduling, and labor management
-
Promote survey readiness and maintain clinical compliance
-
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident outcomes
Qualifications
-
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
-
Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or in a senior nursing leadership role
-
Long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience required

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Proven ability to lead teams, manage clinical operations, and drive quality outcomes
