We are seeking a skilled and reliable Certified HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems at multi-family properties. This position requires excellent technical knowledge, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Travel to our communities throughout Southeast Michigan.
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment and systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and longevity.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and company standards.
- Complete work orders, service reports, and required documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repairs and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, as required.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- HVAC certification required (EPA Section 608 Certification required).
- Valid HVAC Technician license or certification, if required by state or local regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of HVAC installation and service experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions, confined spaces, and on ladders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, boilers, chillers, and building automation systems.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience using mobile service management software.
