Dispatch Assistant SLD Transport, Inc.
Summary The Dispatch Assistant supports our flatbed and piggyback-forklift operations by ensuring that drivers, customers, and internal teams stay connected and informed. This role is key to keeping loads moving on time and within all safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Coordinate daily driver schedules, load assignments, and route updates.
</li>
<li>
Communicate with drivers, customers, and dispatch leadership to relay instructions and resolve issues in real time.
</li>
<li>
Track loads in TMS/ELD systems (e.g., Prophesy, Samsara) and update status notes.
</li>
<li>
Prepare and review trip documents—BOLs, gate receipts, PODs—for accuracy and timely submission.
</li>
<li>
Assist with after-hours or emergency dispatch coverage as needed.
</li>
<li>
Maintain records for safety, DOT, and company compliance.
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
Prior dispatch, logistics, or trucking operations experience preferred but not required.
</li>
<li>
Strong communication skills and a calm, problem-solving approach.
</li>
<li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with transportation management or telematics systems a plus.
</li>
<li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
</li>
</ul>
Schedule &amp; Reporting Full-time, on-site at SLD Transport’s dispatch office. Reports to the Dispatch Manager.

Seeking Substitute teachers for the 2025-26 School Year, August - May. Depending on age level, would report to either the Director of Preschool (1's -4's), Assistant Head of School (K-4th grade), or Academic Chair (5th - 8th grade)
OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
St. Benedict's Episcopal School, located in Smyrna, GA is looking for substitute teachers to work during the school year months of August - May. With a student body of 615+, ranging from preschool 1 year-olds to 8th graders, we are looking for those in the field of education or prior experience with children to be available, as needed to fill various roles within our school. You may specify if you are more comfortable with a particular age student, and we will call you only when those positions need to be filled. Substitutes may be used for a full day or half day, and in some instances could be for several days in a row or to fill a long term leave. We place new subs in rooms with other teachers until one becomes familiar with the school and our environment. Substitute positions are filled via a text or phone call to the candidate sometimes days in advance, a day in advance, and even the morning of the day needed. We are very flexible around working with schedules and notating days that subs may only be available to work.
