Key Responsibilities

Job Summary
Typical workdays include team meetings, planning for each customer visit, and using company trucks/tools to service, calibrate, and repair a customer's weighing equipment. When you join our team as a Field Service Scale Technician, you start out by completing a hands-on onboarding program focused on the fundamentals of the scale technician trade. In addition to completing the necessary training requirements, you also take part in a mentorship program while first working in the field. When you successfully complete all requirements of your onboarding program, you will become a Certified Scale Technician. From there, you may advance into more senior technician levels. There are also opportunities to evolve into other areas of the business, such as IT systems data networking, sales, or customer support.

Successfully complete the scale technician onboarding program, which includes training/mentoring to learn:

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Commissioning Field Engineer to support ongoing construction and system startup activities for a mission-critical facility. This person will be the eyes and ears of the commissioning team onsite, working closely with vendors, contractors, and controls integrators to ensure systems are fully tested, documented, and turned over correctly.
The ideal candidate has a background in MEP systems, controls, or testing and enjoys being hands-on in the field with a proactive approach to issue resolution and system validation.
 
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Participate in daily site safety check-ins and attend GC-led toolbox talks</li>
<li>Lead or support daily Cx huddles with subcontractors, vendors, and controls teams</li>
<li>Review and adjust the commissioning micro-schedule based on site progress</li>
<li>Coordinate system readiness with trades (power, access, water, etc.)</li>
<li>Walk down systems and complete pre-functional checklists</li>
<li>Witness vendor-led equipment startups (UPS, chillers, ATS, fire pumps, etc.)</li>
<li>Monitor controls point-to-point (P2P) testing for accuracy and alarm logic</li>
<li>Execute or observe functional performance testing (FPT) and document results</li>
<li>Identify, log, and manage deficiencies through commissioning software tools</li>
<li>Review O&amp;M manuals, startup sheets, and test documentation for completeness</li>
<li>Provide daily updates, participate in coordination meetings, and send summary reports</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>8+ years experience in commissioning, field engineering, QA/QC, or MEP systems </li>
<li>Familiarity with mission-critical environments (data centers, labs, high-tech facilities) </li>
<li>Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems operations </li>
<li>Proficiency with commissioning tools like Bluebeam, CxAlloy, Smartsheet, or Facility Grid </li>
<li>Experience using test equipment (multimeter, IR camera, flow meters) is a plus </li>
<li>Strong communication and documentation skills </li>

This is a general inquiry for recently graduated international students to indicate interest in doing a ministry training program (called ISEED) while working part-time in their field of study (20 hours/week) in a paid internship either at our organization or another local business. Internationals will use an OPT work authorization as part of this opportunity.
