Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you'll lead the engineering organization while overseeing product development, manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement, and long-term engineering strategy.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
\n

- Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team while building future technical leaders
- Drive engineering strategy, product development, manufacturing engineering, and project execution across the organization
- Standardize engineering processes, documentation, change management, and knowledge management systems
- Partner with manufacturing to improve productivity, product quality, and overall manufacturability through Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee engineering resources, project priorities, KPIs, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful execution
- Provide technical leadership for complex engineering challenges while supporting long-term business growth and innovation

✅ Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required (PE License preferred)
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams
- Strong background supporting both product development and manufacturing engineering
- Experience with hydraulic systems or hydraulic cylinders strongly preferred
- Experience supporting AS9100, NQA-1 or IATF 16949 regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong project management, communication, organizational, and strategic leadership skills
- Experience implementing engineering standards, engineering change management, and continuous improvement initiatives
