JOB SUMMARY

Scope of the Role:

Compensation and Benefits:

What you will do
We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer located in the Montreal, Canada area to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer for Physical Electronics, you will perform installations of complex surface analysis instruments, including customer operational training. You will also carry out scheduled planned maintenance and provide repair and troubleshooting service at customer locations. This position requires frequent domestic travel, as well as internationally. 
This position does not directly support a fab line and does not require shift, overnight or on-call work assignments.

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the growth and development of the Identity and Access Management team here at Best Buy. This teams is responsible for the building cutting edge Identity and Access management solutions for Best Buy’s digital customers and build technical solutions. As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will get broad exposure to our Quality Engineering organization and leadership team. Interns work with cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements and receive a great introduction to our collaborative, fun and engaging culture. Interns will identify, work on, and present a project that will benefit you as well as the plant facility and our organization. This position is administrative support driven. It collaborates with all parties in the Quality Engineering department, and performs functions, and&nbsp;ensuring products, processes, and systems meet established quality standards and customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Functional &amp; Technical Skills

<li>Assist in the review and analysis of Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.</li>
<li>Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or Pareto Charts.</li>
<li>Participate in supplier quality activities, including reviewing supplier documentation and assisting with incoming inspection processes.</li>
<li>Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and templates.</li>

Qualifications

<li>Strong initiative and ability to in teams and individually without direct supervision.&nbsp;</li>
