The Outside Service Technician role is primarily responsible for the repair of case goods, leather, and upholstery furniture. You will be completing minor furniture repairs on all types of product damage, including handling or damage that may occur with furniture purchased in customers’ homes. It is critical to have a customer centric mindset as your service is direct to the customer and our goal is to always give our customers a world class experience.

Responsibilities:
\n

<li>Repairs with little guidance on all product types.</li>
\n
<li>Completes all repair types of entry level with additional skills requirements.&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Performs minor repair on top of surface of case pieces and tables.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Performs solid color paper/side refinishes.</li>
\n
<li>Performs small corner damages that requires rebuild.&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Has general understanding of spray booth set up and use.&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Performs advance replacement part repairs.</li>
\n
<li>Communicates any maintenance of tools, parts and hardware needed as well as keeping repair area/shop clean.</li>
\n
<li>Helps to inspect damaged product and conveys if it can be repaired to like new conditions.</li>
\n
<li>Works with warehouse personnel on techniques of minor touch up on products during the inspection process.</li>
\n
<li>Documents and follows through on reoccurring product damages.</li>
\n
<li>Assists other technicians.</li>
\n
<li>Accurately reports situations that occur when repairs can not be completed.</li>
\n
<li>Must be able to assess damages to determine the most efficient way to repair them.</li>
\n
<li>Identifies damage, loss or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.</li>
\n

<li>Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas.</li>

<li>Maintains proper safety usage of all products that are used within the department.</li>

Outside Service Technician

<h3>Job Description</h3>
This role will drive improvements in engineering excellence, finance and resource management, internal communications, and lead strategic initiatives. The Engineering Operations Sr Manager will significantly impact the overall success of the organization by focusing on areas such as creating process baselines to measure improvement, gathering and developing key performance indicators, developing initiatives to improve coding and testing practices, developing operational models, capturing and developing strategic plans, and managing the overall operational rhythm of the business. The ideal candidate will combine a vision of a high performing Engineering organization, a strong program management capability, and an extensive background in leading large multi-discipline organizations to create and deliver programs that result in improved operational excellence. Your Role 
<ul>
<li>Partner with the Product and Engineering Leadership to develop critical operational initiatives </li>
<li>Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives and participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement and incremental efficiencies</li>
<li>Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive all aspects of full-time and contractor hiring for the organization</li>
<li>Partner with finance to facilitate the financial management process, including financial planning, cost management, resource modeling, and cost tracking</li>
<li>Manage the internal communications strategy </li>
<li>Create a data-driven culture with respect to Engineering productivity and outcomes</li>
<li>Develop, track and report on KPIs related to maintenance, product development, platform performance and platform stability</li>
<li>Engage with Engineering leaders across scrum teams to execute on KPIs</li>
<li>Manage key agile scaling initiatives across the Engineering organization</li>
<li>Establish and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our vendors to include tracking performance, SOW renewals, cost accounting, etc.</li>
</ul>
 What We Look For 
<ul>
<li>BA/BS degree in a related discipline Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience; OR MS degree +6 years of experience in a related discipline; OR PhD +3 years of relevant experience; OR 12 years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of degree. </li>
<li>Must have Software Engineering Management experience within the past 5 years</li>
<li>Must have a minimum of 5 years leading software development teams in an Agile SDLC</li>
<li>Release Train level Scrum leadership experience</li>
<li>Deep understanding of technology industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices</li>
<li>Comprehensive and expert knowledge of the interactive software development process</li>
<li>Experience managing large-scale programs</li>
<li>Working ability to set project schedules, deliverables, and manage budgets</li>
<li>Posses program management skills with the ability to prioritize work in a changing environment</li>
<li>Attention to detail, schedule awareness and ability to drive organizations to healthy and timely results</li>
<li>Experience managing and guiding senior leadership via influence rather than command and control techniques</li>
<li>Must possess an ability to build key business relationships and contribute to the emerging technology culture within Cox Automotive</li>
<li>Experienced storyteller with a passion for creating and delivering innovative communication approaches to engineering audiences</li>
<li>Previous Software Development skills is a plus</li>

 USD 119,600.00 - 199,400.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $119,600.00 - $199,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Benefits: The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
