The Goddard School – St. Augustine (at 4041 County Road 210 W) is expanding its management team. We are looking for a motivated self-starter with strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate and inspire others, and a good understanding of age-appropriate activities for young children to fill the role of an Education Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, associate degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool is required. Director Credentials and a minimum of 5 years of previous experience in an accredited childcare program are required. Knowledge and experience with childcare licensing, curriculum, QA checks, Medication, Manage Staff, Child files, and preparing for school readiness is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee lesson plans and age-appropriate learning in every classroom.
- Developing strong relationships with our families
- Complying with state childcare licensing regulations
- Maintaining and acquiring desired accreditations
- · Review lesson plans
- · Review daily activity reports
- Overseeing preschool operations including human resources, quality assurance, facility operations, and others
