Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Special Needs Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will work closely with students who have a range of learning, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities. They will be responsible for developing individualized education plans (IEPs), implementing adaptive teaching strategies, and creating a supportive learning environment. Must Speak English

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.

  • Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects (math, reading, writing, life skills) to meet students' abilities.

  • Assess students' progress and revise IEPs accordingly.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, counselors, and specialists.

  • Maintain accurate and complete student records, including progress reports and documentation for compliance.

  • Utilize assistive technology and learning aids as needed.

  • Attend IEP meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

  • Address behavioral issues through positive behavior support strategies.

  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard students' rights at all times.
