As an After School Group Leader with Kamaʻāina Kids, you'll create afternoons filled with laughter, creativity, friendship, and discovery. Whether you're leading a game on the playground, helping with homework, or guiding an exciting STEM activity, you'll play an important role in helping children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.

Typical shifts from 1:30 PM–5:30 PM

Wednesday shifts begin around 12:30 PM for early-release schools

What You'll Do
Every afternoon is a little different—which keeps the job fun and rewarding.
You'll help create a welcoming environment where children can learn, play, and thrive by:

Leading games, sports, and outdoor activities

Planning arts, crafts, STEM, and enrichment projects

Helping students with homework and academic support

Building positive relationships with children and families

Encouraging teamwork, kindness, and good decision-making

Maintaining a safe, organized, and engaging program
