POSITION SUMMARY: 
Under the direction of the Preschool Teacher, the Preschool Assistant supports the implementation of a high-quality early childhood education program. Job Description The Teacher Assistant Director supports both the Director and Lead Teachers in creating a high-quality, faith-centered learning environment. This role involves assisting with daily operations, curriculum implementation, classroom management, and parent communication to ensure the well-being and development of each child. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, organized, and compassionate leader who can work collaboratively with staff while also taking on administrative responsibilities as needed. Duties

<li>Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.</li>
<li>Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.</li>
<li>Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.</li>
<li>Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.</li>
<li>Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.</li>
<li>Follow all center policies and state regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.</li>
</ul>
 Requirements 
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).</li>
<li>A minimum of 2 years experience working in a childcare, preschool, or faith-based educational setting (preferred).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of child development and early learning best practices.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team-oriented, faith-based environment.</li>
<li>CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).</li>
<li>Must be able to lift 30 lbs, engage in active play, and supervise children throughout the day.</li>
</ul>
 Classroom Child Development
<ul>
<li>Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate, faith-based learning activities.</li>
<li>Supervise children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.</li>
<li>Support teachers in guiding positive social and emotional development among children.</li>
<li>Observe and document children’s progress, interests, and developmental milestones, sharing insights with staff and parents.</li>
<li>Assist with mealtimes, nap times, hygiene, and general care to maintain a healthy environment.</li>
</ul>
Administrative Leadership Support
<ul>
<li>Work closely with the Director to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth classroom transitions.</li>
<li>Serve as a liaison between staff and parents, fostering positive relationships and clear communication.</li>
<li>Help maintain attendance records, incident reports, and compliance documentation as required by childcare regulations.</li>
<li>Assist with scheduling, classroom organization, and staff support to enhance overall program quality.</li>
<li>Uphold faith-based values and help integrate Christian teachings into daily activities.</li>
</ul>
Collaboration Teamwork
<ul>
<li>Communicate effectively with the Director, teachers, staff, children, and parents.</li>
<li>Work alongside teachers to create a positive, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment.</li>
<li>Model and encourage professionalism, patience, and empathy when interacting with children and families.</li>
<li>Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and special events as needed.</li>

 Tiny Town Enrichment Center is seeking Summer Childcare Teachers to join our team from May through early August. This is a great opportunity for students, future educators, or anyone passionate about early childhood education who wants to gain hands-on experience in a fun and supportive environment. Responsibilities:

<li>Provide attentive care and supervision for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years</li>
