Responsibilities:

<li>Establish and satisfy information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands. </li>
<li>Conduct a comprehensive assessment of implemented controls and control enhancements to determine the effectiveness of the controls, i.e., the extent to which the controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and producing the desired outcome with respect to meeting the security and privacy requirements for the system and the organization. </li>
<li>Schedule and lead System Assessments out-briefs with different stakeholders and provide SAP, SAR, security recommendations and system certifications. </li>
<li>Prepare security, privacy, and supply chain assessment reports containing the results and findings from the assessment. </li>
<li>Provide an assessment of the severity of the deficiencies discovered in the system, environment of operation, and common controls and recommend corrective actions to address the identified vulnerabilities. </li>
<li>Develop and execute a comprehensive Security Controls Test (SCT) plan that details all assessment activities, including required vulnerability scans and penetration testing aligned with DHS RVA standards, guidelines, and templates. The plan should define coordination requirements, scope of controls, and any special interest items to be assessed. Deliverables include:

<li>Create and submit to the CISO, a monthly OSA report that itemizes and describes the OSA scheduled assessment activities (controls, scans, etc.); Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs), scorecards, audits, CM, other tests completed during the past month, and any residual risks added. </li>
<li>Provide a risk rating, based on the risk profiles of all systems in the OSA program, identify trends, and provides recommendations for improving security across the enterprise. This report shall provide sufficient granularity.</li>

Required Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least ten (10) years related experience. </li>

Location: Domestic Violence Intake Centers, Community, Response Line, and some remote time also
Supervises: Advocates, Volunteers, and Interns
SALARY IS $31.25 an hour
Work Hours: FULL-TIME Position (40 hours per week): Traditional and Non-traditional: hours include evenings, overnight, weekends, and on-call (2-week rotation). We are currently working in the office and remotely. This position is mostly remote; you will be required to come into the office occasionally.
Summary
Advocates offer direct services to victims of domestic violence on a 24/7 calendar and at various entry points, including but not limited to SAFE’s 24-hour 800 number, ride-along, on-call, in the DVICs, in Court, and at SAFE’s Crisis Shelter. Advocates primarily assist SAFE clients through direct services and programmatic duties.
SAFE advocates serve as a direct link to community resources to assist victims in maintaining their safety and fulfilling immediate social service needs through short-term case management. SAFE Advocates also provide systems advocacy by providing feedback to the court, the police, and other actors within the legal system regarding their impact on survivors. On-Call Supervisors must be able to meet survivors within one hour of request. This may be at any time during the 24 hours of the day.
Essential Functions (Job Duties)
Response Line Supervision:
<ul>
<li>Monitor the RL Activity Dashboard regularly for quality control and ensure that all services are being logged in the proper locations. Specifically ensure that all information regarding clients, including hotels, lock changes, and DCFNE exams are logged in the appropriate Google documents.</li>
<li>Step in when experiencing increased call volume to ensure timely services or cases are escalated beyond RL staff capacity.</li>
<li>Ensure proper materials about the Response Line are available for community partners and the general public, and keep the Response Line resources up to date.</li>
<li>Attend community meetings/training/events as necessary to promote Crisis Intervention Services services.</li>
<li>Network with members of the community and assist in recruiting volunteers.</li>
<li>Supervise the implementation of new resources and ensure that call takers are following established referral mechanisms and screening.</li>

Supportive Advocacy Services:

<li>During scheduled periods, remain available to provide in-person emergency services to survivors of domestic violence in the community, including completing Emergency Temporary Protection Orders, staffing the Response Line as needed, conducting shelter check-ins, and meeting with clients in person if an in-person hotline intake is needed at a public place such as a hospital or police station.</li>
<li>Provide support to volunteers and advocates staffing the Response Line by checking in via telephone and completing data entry of volunteer interactions on the Response Line as needed.</li>
<li>The independent authority to make decisions about service delivery based on policies provided in the field manual, with secondary support available when needed.</li>
<li>Ability to act as the programmatic authority during non-traditional business hours or as needed.</li>

Our services are specifically aimed at diverting individuals from emergency room care, unnecessary hospitalizations, and incarceration by collaborating with first responders, health care providers and community-based agencies to stabilize a psychiatric crisis and initiate immediate treatment. The Acute Care Services Crisis Stabilization Peer Support Specialist on this multi-disciplinary team will transform our mental health system and build strong connections with our clients through skillful use of lived experience. They will be cross trained in Mobile Crisis Rapid Response in event of team coverage. This is a full time, 36 hour per week position with a schedule of Mondays and Tuesdays 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Fridays 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

<li>Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field preferred however a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least two years of paid or volunteer experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses will be considered.</li>
<li>Have self-knowledge to manage one’s own mental illness and be well along in their recovery (at least one year or greater in recovery, absent of any psychiatric crisis or hospitalization).</li>
<li>Strong commitment to the right and the ability of each person with a severe mental illness to live in normal community residences, work in market jobs, and have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services. </li>
<li>Must be certified as a Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach, and eligible for Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) and Intentional Peer Support certificates. </li>
<li>Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in routine, urgent, and emergent clinical situations.</li>
<li>Proficient computer skills, specifically with all Microsoft office applications.</li>
<li>Ability to document effectively and efficiently in course of work.</li>
<li>Ability to navigate an electronic health record. </li>
<li>Ability and desire to work as part of a clinical team while also able to be self-directed and motivated with minimal supervision. </li>
<li>Ability to acquire and effectively practice new clinical skills as needed according to evolving agency needs/services.</li>
<li>Effective communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.</li>
