Job SummaryAre you passionate about food, customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a cheerful, friendly, and efficient Sandwich Artist to join our team! As the face of our restaurant, you will create personalized, high-quality sandwiches, greet customers, and maintain a spotless store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet guests with a smile, take orders accurately, answer menu questions, and offer suggestions to upsell.
- Food Preparation: Prepare food (washing, slicing, chopping ingredients) according to Subway’s established formulas and safety guidelines.
- Sandwich Assembly: Craft sandwiches, salads, and wraps to customer specifications, ensuring neatness and quality.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area, wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, and ensure restrooms/dining area are clean.
- POS Operations: Operate the cash register, handle payments, and maintain accurate cash flow.
- Inventory: Restock the sandwich unit area.
Qualifications
- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for the entire work shift.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
