About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in custom architectural millwork to oversee high-end commercial and residential woodworking projects. This role is ideal for a professional who can manage projects from concept through installation while coordinating with internal departments, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure exceptional project execution.

What You'll Be Responsible For

\n

    \n
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of custom architectural millwork projects from planning through final installation.
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
  • \n

  • Coordinate with architects, designers, general contractors, clients, and installation teams to ensure project success.
  • \n

  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and fabrication documents for accuracy.
  • \n

  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve scheduling, design, quality, and installation issues.
  • \n

  • Oversee field activities, ensuring work meets quality standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
  • \n

  • Coordinate production schedules with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and installation teams.
  • \n

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, approvals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • \n

  • Track project costs, material deliveries, and procurement activities.
  • \n

  • Conduct site inspections, field measurements, quality audits, and installation reviews.
  • \n

  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, as-built documentation, warranties, and client handover.
  • \n

  • Partner with accounting to support billing, invoicing, and project financial tracking.
  • \n

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • \n

Required Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience within architectural millwork, custom woodworking, cabinetry, or commercial interiors.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of AWI/AWMAC standards and architectural millwork manufacturing processes.
  • \n

  • Experience managing projects from design development through fabrication and installation.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of commercial construction practices and coordination with multiple trades.
  • \n

  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • \n

  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
  • \n

  • Previous site supervision or installation management experience is highly desirable.
  • \n
