Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Bethel, CT. This is a 3-month opportunity (contract to hire) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide patient care, clinical summary and direction on next steps or follow up</li>
<li>Perform phlebotomy for patients as needed</li>
<li>Act as a member of the care team, including preparing patients to be seen by collecting and recording clinical information as per protocol</li>

<li>Demonstrate respect for patients and ProHealth staff by presenting a friendly, courteous manner at all times and maintaining patient confidentiality</li>

<li>Maintain knowledge of current coding, OSHA and CLIA regulations and company policies</li>

Required Certifications &amp; Licensure:
