A multi-specialty group in Rockland County is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their growing team! About the Opportunity:
<ul>
<li>Location: Spring Valley, NY</li>
<li>Schedule: Flexible 8-12 hour shifts, 37.5 hours/week</li>
<li>Call: one week every other month</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
The Advanced Practice Provider will:
<ul>
<li>Take histories, perform physical examinations, and prescribe treatment and medication for conditions</li>
<li>Design and participate in quality improvement activities, including Medical Record Peer Review, performance and procedure audits, outcome audits, and focused reviews</li>
<li>Coordinate tests, referrals, and care of patients outside the center</li>
<li>Maintain legible and appropriate documentation of medical records</li>
<li>Participate and attend provider meetings</li>
<li>Perform other duties, as needed</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Active New York State Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license</li>
</ul>
