More About the Opportunity We are hoping you will join us as a Supervisor Facilities and help shape the future of healthcare where you'll be an integral part of our Facilities team, helping to strive for excellence while we serve our member health with dignity, respecting the value and needs of each of our members through collaboration with our providers, community partners and local stakeholders. In this role, you will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day departmental operations, including adds/moves/changes, office space redesign, tenant improvements, offsite records storage, mailroom activities, front desk security, ergonomic evaluations, vendor/contractor coordination and the recycle program. You will also oversee and manage CalOptima Health's electronic security system and employee badge system. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of written policies and procedures for the Facilities department. Lastly, you'll also collaborate and coordinate with the property management office responsible for all CalOptima Health sites. Together, we are building a stronger, more equitable health system. Your Contributions To the Team:

<li>Assists with hiring, managing, training, reviewing and setting goals for the department and staff.</li>
<li>Participates in the negotiation and planning of office space reconfigurations.</li>
<li>Leads and schedules all internal moves.</li>
<li>Ensures the moving and storage vendors adhere to contract terms and conditions.</li>
<li>Oversees and manages CalOptima Health's electronic key card employee identification system.</li>
<li>Provides oversight and manages mailroom and shipping/receiving functions.</li>
<li>Oversees all ergonomic evaluations and ensures the implementation of all ergonomic assessments.</li>
<li>Coordinates with the Manager of Environmental Health &amp; Safety (EH&amp;S) to enforce and promote a culture of safety, ensuring all direct reports comply with EH&amp;S standards, policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Creates on-call and overtime schedules for Facilities staff.</li>
<li>Responds to emergencies and critical incidents outside of normal business hours as needed</li>

<li>Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department.</li>
<li>Assists with construction and re-design projects, including scheduling and coordinating temporary workspace arrangements. </li>
<li>Ensures the ordering, delivery and installation of office furniture and equipment.</li>
<li>Coordinates with CalOptima Health's vendors and contractors as they relate to facilities activities.</li>
<li>Participates and contributes in project meetings.</li>
<li>Assists in managing CalOptima Health's off-site record storage program.</li>
<li>Participates in Facilities department on-call rotation schedule.</li>
</ul>

 Do You Have What the Role Requires? 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent PLUS 5 years of property/facilities experience with increasing levels of responsibility required; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above may also be qualifying. </li>
<li>1 year of progressive leadership experience required. </li>
<li>Basic understanding and experience working with top furniture systems required. </li>
<li>Have access to means of transportation for work away from the primary office approximately 10% of the time required.</li>
</ul>
 You'll Stand Out More If You Possess the Following: 
<ul>
<li>Associate's degree. </li>
<li>International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management </li>
<li>Professional (FMP) designation. </li>
<li>1 year of supervisory experience. </li>
<li>Experience with commercial building infrastructure and operations. </li>
<li>Experience with large-scale employee moves.</li>
