Sales Executive – Niche Testing Services, Base $75k + Uncapped Commission, Farmington Hills, Hybrid
The Opportunity: Are you ready to drive new business across a high-growth technical services market? We're working on behalf of a leading third-party test lab specializing in the transportation sector (fuel/fluid systems &amp; EV batteries for automotive, marine, aviation, and heavy equipment) to identify their next Sales Executive. This is a rare chance to take ownership of a wide, untapped US territory, backed by management who value autonomy—not micromanagement.
Whats on offer:

<li>Base salary: $75,000 </li>
<li>Uncapped commission: 4% paid quarterly on all sales over quota (no ceiling—your earnings track your results)</li>
<li>Target market: $2M revenue this year, aggressive $3M revenue goal for next year</li>
<li>Territory: Entire US; target-rich areas are West Coast (EV startups), Carolinas, Tennessee (OEMs)</li>
<li>Autonomy &amp; support: Flexible office hybrid, travel reimbursed; corporate credit card provided; resource/support from seasoned industry experts</li>
</ul>
Your Background:
<ul>
<li>Must have: 2+ years sales experience in technical/industry testing services (ideally transport/EV/battery/fuel/fluid systems)</li>
<li>Demonstrable track record of new account development (be ready to evidence new clients/revenue generated)</li>
<li>Self-starting, able to manage your schedule, appointments, and territory with minimal oversight</li>
<li>Comfortable using CRM (HubSpot) and prospecting tools.</li>
<li>Comfortable working as an individual contributor, with support from qualified inside sales and management</li>
</ul>
Role remit:
<ul>
<li>Major focus: New account development—identify, engage, and close new business in the transportation space</li>
<li>Additional: Nurture, grow, and upsell existing accounts</li>
<li>Full-cycle sales: Prospecting, meetings (remote &amp; in-person), closing, and revenue delivery, all across a wide-open US market</li>
