Monthly Safety &amp; Performance Incentive Bonus
The incremental bonus is $0.05 to $0.15/mile above 3,999 during the four-week bonus period. The operator must qualify for all four weeks of the bonus period with no accidents, claims, CSA points, citations, or service failures.

In this key leadership role, you'll be the face of safety, working closely with the EHS Manager to foster a positive environmental, health, and safety culture. WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:
<ul>
<li>Manage federal, state, and local regulatory aspects of safety programs, including compliance with applicable safety regulations, company requirements and guidelines.</li>
<li>Responsible and accountable for assisting in the preparation, submission, and documentation of all EPA and OSHA Reporting Requirements, up to but not limited to OSHA 300 Log, Hazardous Waste Generators Annual Report, Air Emissions Annual Inventory Report, Tier II Report and TRI Report.</li>
<li>Partner with the HR Manager to oversee the Employee Safety Committee, monitor Safety Boards, and administer safety events. </li>
<li>Working with EHS manager to audit Safety Polices to assure compliance with Federal and State regulations and keep current with new changes to the statutes.</li>
<li>Recommend and administer training to improve safety throughout the Company.</li>
<li>Responsible for communicating Safety Polices and their individual requirements to employees, supervisors and management while providing support to all departments to achieve individual safety goals.</li>
<li>Work within corporate guidelines to document and investigate work-related accidents and illnesses.</li>
<li>Participate in all OSHA recordable and environmental incident investigations.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the HR Manager and EHS Manager to review and identify workers’ compensation claims to identify potentially fraudulent claims. </li>
<li>Partner with HR/EHS Managers and insurance carriers to return worker’s compensation employees back to work as soon as possible.</li>
<li>Facilitate OSHA mandated training and/or retraining where practical (i.e., fire safety, first aid, environmental, etc.)</li>
<li>Perform all special duties as required, this is a hands-on role.</li>
</ul>
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in industrial safety, Human Resources or related program required. Relevant experience is considered in lieu of a degree.</li>
<li>Strong background in Minnesota environmental and safety regulations.</li>
<li>Previous experience working with Metropolitan Council of Environmental Services (MCES).</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of prior safety experience within a manufacturing environment. </li>
<li>Classroom and Hands-on Training Experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, EPA, MPCA statutes and recommendations.</li>
