Driesenga & Associates, Inc., a full service Professional Surveying and Civil Engineering firm with offices throughout Michigan is seeking candidates to fill a career Survey CAD Technician opportunity in our Kalamazoo, Michigan office.
This opportunity is for an individual who excels in multi-tasking and communicating with fellow survey and engineering licensed professionals and field technicians. The position will work with and under the direction of the Project Manager and/or the Group Manager and be accountable for a wide variety of tasks on projects including civil/site construction plan prep, data point generation for use in construction staking, survey data reduction, as well as boundary and topographical survey preparation of final drawings.
Additional duties will include assisting the Civil Engineering Department in residential, commercial and industrial development, as well as other miscellaneous Civil Engineering tasks.
The ideal candidate will have attained 2 or more years of relevant experience in Survey / Civil Engineering CAD Drafting or a similar field though candidates with less experience in other CAD fields may be considered. This individual must have the ability to work well with others in a fast paced environment.
