Job Description

Shift: 1:00 PM-9:00 PM\n

Hourly Rate: $33.06 an hour + $0.20 shift differential\n

\n

\n\n \n Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the reliability and efficiency of equipment at our Quincy, Michigan manufacturing facility by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing production machinery used to produce Hebrew National Hot Dogs.\n A Taste of Your Responsibilities\n

  • Perform preventative maintenance across a wide range of industrial machinery and production equipment to minimize downtime
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, chillers, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems
  • \n

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues related to production and facility equipment
  • \n

  • Support predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment performance and reliability
  • \n

  • Work across multiple maintenance disciplines based on operational needs
  • \n

  • Respond to equipment alerts and communicate effectively using radio systems
  • \n

  • Walk throughout the facility to complete inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks
  • \n

  • Follow all safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements
  • \n

  • Maintain consistent attendance, work scheduled shifts, and support overtime needs
  • \n

Ingredients Required for Your Success\n

    \n
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • \n

  • 1+ year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • \n

  • Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical and electrical drive or control systems
  • \n

  • Experience supporting preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • \n

  • Mechanical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment
  • \n

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • \n

  • Basic computer experience (2 years preferred)
  • \n

  • Current work history with at least 1 year of recent employment
  • \n

  • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment
  • \n
