Qualifications:

<li>High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in crane maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, or industrial equipment repair and maintenance.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems, VFDs (variable frequency drives), contactors, and PLCs (programable logic controllers).</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.</li>
<li>Experience working with AC/DC motors, hydraulics, and gearboxes.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of OSHA required guidelines for inspection and certification.</li>
<li>Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.</li>
<li>Must be comfortable working at heights and lifting heavy equipment.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and clean driving record required.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the timely processing of warranty claims while fostering and maintaining excellent business and customer relations with Alcom’s dealer network. The position works within Alcom’s internal support team of Sales, Production, and Quality Departments.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fleet Supervisor

Department: Private Fleet
Reports To: Fleet Manager
Supervises: Private Fleet Drivers
General Summary: 
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the day to day transportation operations. Responsibility includes&nbsp;managing drivers, ensuring on time store deliveries, tractor utilization, inbound reverse logistics on time pick up,&nbsp;and driver safe and legal operations.&nbsp;
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp; 
<ul>
<li>Manage assigned Drivers to deliver results that include but not limited to, on-time delivery, safety compliance, and utilization.</li>
<li>Champion Driver retention by building and maintaining driver relationships through&nbsp;understanding and meeting driver needs. These needs include, but are not limited to home time, payroll, utility, equipment breakdowns, logging violations, equipment issues, etc.</li>
<li>Manages safety by adhering to Federal, State, local, and organizational rules and&nbsp;regulations.</li>
<li>Promotes a culture of safety by evaluating the safety performance of all employees and&nbsp;ensuring proper safety measures are in place and addressing any concerns/issues in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):&nbsp; 
<ul>
<li>Proven Leadership and in-depth knowledge of dedicated transportation operations, FMCSA and DOT regulations.</li>
<li>Understanding of Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) program.</li>
<li>Strong communication (written and verbal), listening, interpersonal problem solving and innovative thinking skills</li>
<li>High attention to detail, strong planning, and organization skills</li>
<li>Understands driver logs, hours of service, and dedicated operations</li>
<li>Proficient in usage of transportation optimization software to perform routing, tendering, scheduling, and shipment tracking</li>
<li>Ability to function in a high-stress environment</li>
<li>Must know MS Office software</li>
<li>10% travel required</li>
</ul>
Work Experience &amp;/or Education: 
<ul>
