We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guest.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Technicians use their knowledge &amp; skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest&nbsp;</li>
<li>Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles</li>
<li>Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections</li>
<li>Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively</li>
<li>Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization</li>
<li>Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications 
Qualifications:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest</li>
<li>3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic</li>
<li>ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve</li>
<li>Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles</li>
<li>Meet or exceed hourly goals</li>
<li>Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes</li>
<li>Professional appearance and strong communication</li>
<li>A desire for long-term career development</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds</li>
<li>Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head</li>
<li>Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair</li>
<li>Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools</li>
<li>Walk/stand for the majority of their workday</li>
<li>Drive manual transmissions vehicles</li>
<li>Efficiently navigate a computer</li>
</ul>

Requirements:
 
Position Summary
Provides support for the vehicle maintenance department by diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical problems and repairing subsequent problems. This position will primarily focus on our trailers.
 
Essential Job Functions
<ul>
<li>Diagnose and repair class 8 trucks, trailers and cars using diagnostic tools</li>
<li>Repair refrigeration units on trailers</li>
<li>Lift heavy parts such as wheels, tires, brake drums, batteries, springs, etc.</li>
<li>Perform vehicle preventive maintenance</li>
<li>Operate equipment when troubleshooting and testing when repairs are made</li>
<li>Keep accurate records of repairs and inspections</li>
<li>Possess own tools to perform assigned tasks</li>
<li>Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain within 6 months</li>
<li>Must be insurable for auto insurance coverage and possess a valid driver’s license</li>
<li>Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy</li>
</ul>
Competencies
<ul>
<li>Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and electrical systems</li>
<li>Working knowledge of suspension systems, steering, brakes, HVAC and preventative maintenance</li>
<li>Process strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret manuals diagnostic tools</li>
<li>Ability to read and understand service manuals, schematics and instructions</li>
<li>Knowledge of trailer refrigeration units</li>
<li>Knowledge of D.O.T. regulation</li>
<li>Skilled in proper and safe procedures associated with vehicle repairs</li>
<li>Ability to work well with others and at times with minimal supervision</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience
<ul>
<li>2+ years of experience in a professional shop environment</li>
