Responsibilities
Perform thorough mechanical and safety inspections on pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high quality standards.
Identify and repair common mechanical issues including brakes, suspension, fluid leaks, and electrical systems.
Prepare vehicles for the lot by performing necessary maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
Collaborate with the service team to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines for each vehicle.
Maintain an organized and clean workspace to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the shop.
Test drive vehicles to verify that all repairs meet performance expectations before they reach the showroom floor.
Requirements
At least 1 year of hands-on shop experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
ASE certifications in relevant areas.
Own set of professional-grade tools.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Understanding of vehicle safety inspections and reconditioning processes.
Basic computer proficiency for documenting inspection reports.
