As a Choke Repair Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, rebuild, and test critical oilfield choke equipment that keeps drilling operations running safely and efficiently. Every repair you complete plays an important role in delivering reliable equipment to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild hydraulic and manual choke assemblies.
- Diagnose equipment failures and determine the root cause.
- Replace seals, bearings, stems, seats, trim, and other internal components.
- Read repair procedures and engineering drawings.
- Perform functional testing to verify repairs.
- Complete repair documentation and maintain quality records.
- Maintain inventory of repair components.
- Follow company safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical repair experience preferred.
- Experience with hydraulic equipment is a plus.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
