We are hiring a Press Operator for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Hendersonville, NC, offering $20/hour. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts), with overtime on Fridays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM as needed and announced in advance. This role involves operating compression presses to mold rubber parts, following manufacturing instructions, producing quality products, and performing inspections to ensure parts meet standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to learn, and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate compression presses to mold rubber parts according to production instructions
- Read and follow manufacturing guidelines and work instructions
- Produce parts while maintaining quality and accuracy standards
- Perform quality checks and inspect finished parts
- Maintain a safe, productive, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions
- Ability to produce parts and perform quality inspections
- Ability to lift boxes of parts weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift
- Dependable worker with the ability to learn, work independently, and collaborate with a team
