The Residential College in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan <a href="http://www.rc.lsa.umich.edu/" target="_blank">http://www.rc.lsa.umich.edu/</a> is seeking applicants for a full-time Lecturer III to teach courses in the Drama Program and to serve as the head of this program. This is a full time, non-tenure track position with a university-year appointment period beginning January 1, 2024. The Residential College (RC) Drama Program (<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/rc/current-students/curriculum/drama.html" target="_blank">https://lsa.umich.edu/rc/current-students/curriculum/drama.html</a>) offers introductory and advanced courses in the history, theory, and practice of theatre. The program offers a major and a minor, in which students learn about and practice many aspects of play production from devising and design to acting and directing. Class sizes tend to be small. The successful candidate will serve as head of this program and faculty advisor to the Drama major and teach five courses throughout the academic year (fall and winter terms). These courses will contribute primarily to the Drama Program but could also contribute to other RC programs, such as the Arts and Ideas Program (the RC humanities major) or the First-year Seminar Program (intensive writing courses that satisfy the first-year writing requirement). Additional duties include participation in college- and program-wide activities. The RC Drama Program differs from other performance programs on campus in its commitment to socially engaged theatre, social justice, and community engagement. Some courses enable students to explore theatre in collaboration with local schools, prisons, or public-housing communities. RC Drama courses often integrate textual analysis and performance practices and teach theatre history by staging previously written texts and exploring applied theatre by devising original performances. SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Community Partnerships, the Museum Director provides leadership and directs policymaking, planning, organization, staffing, and operations. Montclair State University recently made an exciting announcement that it will receive a $5 million transformational gift that it will use to become an educational partner in the creation and operation of a museum and learning center at historic Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, New Jersey. The museum is scheduled to open in fall 2023. The Director serves as the spokesperson and chief advocate for the Museum and works closely with the Advisory Board to refine, develop, and implement a progressive program for the Museum’s fundraising, exhibitions, collections management, educational activities, and community outreach. &nbsp;
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Montshire Museum of Science (Norwich, VT) seeks a broadly experienced individual with strong nonprofit finance experience to serve as Director of Finance. This position serves as a member of the Montshire’s senior management team and as an advisor to the Executive Director in the areas of strategic financial planning, internal controls, compliance, and safeguarding of museum assets. This position is responsible for general, grants and capital accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, audit preparation, risk management, investment tracking and reporting, administration of employee benefit plans, and coordination of select HR processes.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;
Primary responsibilities include maintenance of general ledger and accounts; effective coordination of billing, fund allocation and annual audit; budget and reporting; payroll; accounts; insurance and deposits. The primary goal of the Administration and Finance Coordinator (AFC) is to ensure that the day-to-day business and financial operations of the organization run effectively, efficiently, and align with best practices of nonprofit organization management. Education and experience
Required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least 1 year’s experience in administration and business operations
OR
Associate’s degree and at least 4 years’ experience in administration and business operations
Preferred
3+ years’ experience working in a nonprofit organization
3+ years’ experience in nonprofit business operations

Base salary range: $45,000 to $48,000 annually DOE,&nbsp;FLSA status nonexempt Paid vacation and sick leave 9 paid holidays per year
