MRG Exams, a leader and premier service provider of independent medical examinations is currently looking for a full-time certified Medical Assistant to join our team. In this unique opportunity, you will be supporting an office of medical providers who are performing disability evaluations on United States Veterans.
The Medical Assistant will play a critical role in maintaining the well-being of the office facilities, patients, and medical providers by providing a supportive and clean environment. The Medical Assistant will have strong communication skills with a dedication to customer service. 
Pay range for this position is $19-$21 per hour.
Schedule - Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, 1 Hr lunch
<h3>Requirements</h3>
MRG Exams West is looking for a Medical Assistant who will:
<ul>
<li>Open and close office daily. </li>
<li>Clean and prep exam rooms between patient visits. </li>
<li>Handle front desk duties. Includes:</li>
<li>Greeting Veterans</li>
<li>Direction phone calls for many facilities </li>
<li>Be highly organized and have an above average attention to detail.</li>
<li>Maintain equipment and supplies.</li>
<li>Complete patient confirmation calls and check-ins. </li>
<li>Maintain consistent communication with MRG Operations team. </li>
<li>Perform EKG’s &amp; PFT’s (when needed). **minimum testing needed.</li>
</ul>

Essential attributes: 
<ul>
<li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirements </li>
<li>Experience working in a medical field. </li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Ability to perform EKG testing.</li>
<li>Ability to perform PFT’s.</li>
<li>Certification from an accredited MA program. </li>
</ul>

<li>Coordinates and shares the interdisciplinary treatment planning, individual assessment, intakes, meetings, and participates in client quarterly/semi-annual/annual meetings</li>
</ul>
REQUIREMENTS:

<li>High School diploma</li>
<li>1 year experience supervising</li>
</ul>

<li>3 Years Experience overseeing and maintaining adults with developmental disabilities</li>
<li>Minimum 3 Years Experience in a human services delivery system and with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities</li>

<li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li>
<li>Must have a California Driver’s License</li>
