About the Role
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and/or auditory processing disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The SLP will also be responsible for completing GG (Functional Abilities and Goals) scoring as part of the IRF-PAI (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility – Patient Assessment Instrument) to track patient progress and meet CMS (Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services) compliance requirements.
POSITION’S ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Clinical Duties:

<li>Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients with:

<li>Dysphagia (including clinical swallow evaluations, FEES, or MBSS if certified)</li>
<li>Aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia (stroke, TBI, neurodegenerative diseases)</li>
<li>Cognitive-communication deficits (delirium, post-ICU recovery, dementia)</li>
<li>Tracheostomy patients (speech &amp; swallow rehab)</li>
<li>AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) needs</li>

<li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.</li>
<li>Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PT/OT, respiratory therapy, and case management/social worker for coordinated care.</li>
<li>Educate patients, families, and medical staff on swallowing precautions, communication strategies, and safe diet recommendations.</li>

Patient &amp; Caregiver Education:

<li>Educate patients and families on home safety based on goals of rehab stay.</li>
<li>Train caregivers and provide guidance on post-discharge exercises and adaptive strategies.</li>

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

<li>Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient progress and discharge planning.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other therapists.</li>
<li>Adjust treatment plans based on patient response and medical status.</li>

GG Scoring &amp; IRF-PAI Compliance:

<li>Complete GG functional scoring (Section GG of IRF-PAI) for admission, discharge, and periodic intervals.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical record.</li>
<li>Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review GG scores and adjust care plans.</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with Medicare, Joint Commission, and facility documentation standards.</li>

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.</li>
<li>Licensure: Current state SLP license (or eligible).</li>
<li>Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or in CFY year).</li>

<li>Strong dysphagia management skills (MBSS/FEES preferred but not always required).</li>

Overview
We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to join a growing product and engineering team. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is passionate about building intuitive, accessible user experiences while gaining hands-on experience across the full stack. You will work on both greenfield development and the modernization of existing applications, contributing to customer-facing platforms as well as internal tools.

What You’ll Do
UI/UX Development
<ul>
<li>Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, scalable, and responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</li>
<li>Build and maintain interactive UI components for modern web applications</li>
<li>Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot UI-related issues to ensure optimal performance</li>
<li>Help maintain UI/UX standards, visual consistency, and accessibility across applications</li>

.NET Development
<ul>
<li>Review wireframes, prototypes, and mockups and provide feedback on feasibility and user experience</li>
<li>Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core</li>
<li>Integrate front-end interfaces with server-side logic and relational databases</li>
<li>Write and optimize SQL queries and procedures for SQL Server</li>
<li>Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance</li>
<li>Debug and resolve issues across both front-end and back-end codebases</li>
</ul>
Collaboration &amp; Growth

<li>Collaborate with product managers, senior developers, and QA engineers within an Agile/Scrum environment</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>1+ year of development experience (including bootcamps or internships)</li>
<li>Foundational front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript</li>
<li>Experience or exposure to a modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Web Assembly, etc.)</li>
<li>Basic proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core or UI/UX experience (experience in both is a bonus)</li>
<li>Experience with SQL Server and writing basic SQL queries</li>
</ul>
