$260,000 – $390,000+
A premier global law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Transactions Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing institutional investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, borrowers, developers, REITs, and real estate investment funds in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
Ideal Background
• JD Class of 2022–2023 (approximately 2–4 years of experience) with commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
• Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and financing transactions
• Experience representing lenders, borrowers, developers, institutional investors, REITs, private equity sponsors, and real estate investment funds
• Experience with complex real estate financings, including lender and/or borrower representation
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, joint venture agreements, operating agreements, development agreements, and related transaction documents
• Experience reviewing title, survey, zoning, environmental reports, and other real estate due diligence materials
• Experience working across a variety of asset classes, including office, multifamily, industrial, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use developments
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining significant client interaction
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• DC bar admission required or ability to become admitted
