Program of Distinction Administrative Assistant

Elizabethtown College invites applicants to apply for a full-time position of&nbsp;Lecturer in Physician Assistant Studies. There are 2 positions available. Each position is a permanent 12-month faculty position to begin&nbsp;January 1, 2024&nbsp;with regular annual renewal, pending satisfactory performance. The Physician Assistant Program is a graduate program housed within the School of Human and Health Professions, which is grounded in the mission of Elizabethtown College: Educate for Service. Our program provides an integrated curriculum including the art of medicine that will provide students with a transformative educational experience that emphasizes purposeful work, cultivates personal strengths and develops a passion for lifelong learning.
Job Duties:
Successful colleagues will provide evidence of effective teaching and clinical work as well as be prepared to offer courses in both the didactic and clinical years. Primary responsibilities will be to didactic year students; however, all principal faculty will be fully integrated into the clinical year of the program and will provide graduate level instruction in all phases of the program. This position will assist the program director in the review, planning and development of the program. The candidate will participate in the accreditation process including ongoing course assessments, student assessments, remediation, faculty/staff assessments, program assessments, competency evaluations, accreditation site visits and data collection. This position actively participates in student recruitment and admissions (both undergraduate and graduate physician assistant studies) and student advising (both undergraduate and undergraduate). The position includes emphasis on service and scholarly activities for one’s own growth and development and the benefit of the institution and program. Candidates should have a strong interest in designing enriching experiences for students that foster community engagement, holistic views of medicine and deeper understanding of human behavior. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Government Affairs leads the college’s engagement with local, state, and federal government officials and agencies. The Director is responsible for advancing institutional priorities and securing funding through legislative advocacy, policy analysis, and strategic coordination with elected officials. The Director will oversee the Government Relations manager and ensure alignment of advocacy efforts with the college's mission and strategic plan.

The Town of Canaan has a Full Time opening at Town Hall for an Assessing Coordinator.&nbsp; Duties include providing assessing support to the Town Administrator and assessing company.&nbsp; This position also serves as administrative support to the Building Inspector, Planning Board, and billing support for the Water and Sewer department.&nbsp;
