Senior Data Scientist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY, and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Implement and validate predictive and prescriptive models, create and maintain statistical models with a focus on big data, and incorporate a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques. Write programs to cleanse and integrate data efficiently and in a reusable manner, using leading-edge open-source tools. Work in an Agile, collaborative environment, partnering with other data scientists, engineers, and consultants to bring analytical rigor and statistical methods to the challenges of predicting behaviors. Communicate with internal and external clients to understand and define business needs and appropriate modeling techniques to provide analytical solutions. Evaluate modeling results and communicate them to technical and non-technical audiences. Utilize: Machine Learning and MLOps, Python, SQL, Big Data Management, Advanced Hive SQL Skills and Query Optimization, DevOps, Data Modeling and ETL Development, and Advanced Data Analysis. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Machine Learning and MLOps, Python, SQL, Big Data Management, Advanced Hive SQL Skills and Query Optimization, DevOps, Data Modeling and ETL Development, and Advanced Data Analysis. $169541 to $215000 per year.
