Graphic Designer

Monterey County Weekly and MontereyCountyNow.com, the 39-year old, award winning media company headquartered in Seaside, CA seeks a talented graphic designer to join our four person production team. The preferred candidate must excel in a fast paced environment, be smart and efficient, and have graphic design experience. Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is required. The job is multifaceted and will involve advertising design, editorial layout, web ad design, newsletter and web publishing as well as other special design projects. The work environment is both lively and professional, the pay is $19-$23 per hour depending on experience, plus an excellent benefit package including paid time off, health, dental and vision insurance plus the opportunity to participate in the company 401(k) program.
