Job Summary:
A leading rehabilitation provider is seeking a patient-focused Occupational Therapist (OT) to help individuals develop, recover, and maintain daily living and work skills. This role involves delivering client-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat short-term and long-term residents requiring OT services
- Complete timely documentation (evaluations, re-certifications, discharges)
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Conduct quarterly screenings and assessments
- Support restorative nursing programs
- Assist with insurance authorizations and appeals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support overall facility needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (state of Ohio)
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
- Strong communication, observation, and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
