Position Title: Inside Sales Representative

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Inside Sales Representative at Blueroot Health will drive sales for the Vital Nutrients and Fairhaven Health brands by executing strategic sales plans and delivering exceptional customer engagement. This role focuses on new account acquisition, current account management and growth, lead follow-up from trade shows and marketing campaigns, and supporting product launches. This is an inside sales role with occasional travel for trade shows and key business events.


WHAT YOU’LL DO (MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES):

· Own and grow a defined book of business across both Vital Nutrients and Fairhaven Health, achieving sales targets through account acquisition, development, and retention.

· Drive expansion within existing accounts by identifying gaps and recommending appropriate products, including newly launched items.

· Follow up with all trade show and marketing-generated leads in a timely and professional manner, converting leads into long-term customers.

· Use strong product and condition knowledge to engage with healthcare practitioners and influence product decisions aligned with clinical protocols.

· Utilize consultative selling techniques to drive and acquire business.

· Develop and execute a business plan for your territory/book of business, including clear strategies for growth and retention.

· Consistently meet outreach expectations through phone, email, video, and other channels, hitting activity goals weekly.

· Document key performance activities and customer interactions in the CRM (HubSpot) to track progress and inform team collaboration.

· Partner cross-functionally with customer service, marketing, operations, and sales leadership to ensure seamless customer experience.

· Provide feedback and insight from the field to help improve product positioning, marketing, and support.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hit or exceed revenue quota and KPI metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Actively use and share customer feedback to continuously improve sales strategies and customer engagement.

• Support company initiatives, including pricing strategies, product promotions, and sample policies.

• Model integrity, professionalism, and collaboration across all internal and external communications.

• Maintain compliance with all Blueroot Health policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

· Strong ability to work independently, prioritize, and make sound business decisions.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence.

· Experience engaging with health professionals and a deep understanding of dietary supplements used in clinical care.

· Comfortable discussing complex health conditions and protocols related to both men’s and women’s health.

· Organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and analytical skills.

· Experience working in a CRM-driven sales environment; HubSpot experience preferred.

· Proficiency in MS Office, Zoom/Teams.

· Ability to adapt to changing business needs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Sitting for long periods of time.

· Repetitive tasks such as typing and extended periods of computer screen time.

· Handling stress with composure.
