Our Business Development Managers primarily focuses on prospecting and onboarding new customers in the JAN/SAN market segment. We passionately serve customers in the JanSan, Foodservice, and Industrial Packaging markets, delivering the right products and solutions to ensure their businesses are more successful every day.
Responsibilities:
- Primary focus is to prospect and onboard new customers in all market segments.
- Assist sales reps in closing opportunities
- Support Regional management team in closing opportunities in their areas
- Support sales team in recovering lost business
- Work with vendor community to develop leads and close business
- Participate in planning and presenting at sales meetings
- Support Government team in closing opportunities
- Support category team on closing opportunities
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proven experience as a sales representative
- Familiarity with CRM practices
- Excellent selling/negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Interpersonal Communication Skills, Verbal & Written
- Business Acumen
- Strong Initiative/Motivation
