Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized Pre-K intake assessments at an elementary school in San Mateo, CA. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from ASAP through June 3, 2026, serving a focused caseload exclusively for Pre-K students. Candidates with CCC certification and DCA state licensure as Speech-Language Pathologists are encouraged to apply. Please note that Clinical Fellows will not be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Pre-K intake speech and language assessments
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to inform early intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and assessment outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the states Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA)
- Clear or Professional Speech Services Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) preferred but not required
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a school setting
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work full-time onsite hours, approximately 40 hours per week
