- Pay Rate: $22 – $27.20 per hour
- Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM; Rotating Saturday (Daytime, Pacific Time)
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the organization to patients, supporting both routine and diagnostic health testing. This position involves drawing quality blood samples, ensuring accurate specimen preparation, and providing compassionate and professional patient care. The PSR I upholds the company’s commitment to excellence through precision, confidentiality, and outstanding service.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing tasks accurately and on time.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment.
- Confidently conduct both forensic and clinical specimen collections following established procedures.
- Accurately document and maintain patient and specimen records.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and coworkers.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
- Skilled in pediatric and geriatric specimen collection.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service and data entry experience.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a retail or healthcare service environment.
Required Skills:
- California CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) license required.
- Phlebotomy expertise and patient communication.
- Specimen labeling and data accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
- Medical assistant or paramedic training.
- Record management and confidentiality handling.
- Time management and process improvement skills.

- Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
