Job Description
Join our dynamic team in one of three assembly departments with openings for both 1st and 2nd shifts. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality components used in various industries, including medical, agricultural, and government sectors.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components with precision and attention to detail.
- Work with brakes and clutches for use in surgical robots, gurneys, hospital beds, MRI machines, and more.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including calipers and micrometers, to ensure accurate assembly.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for assembly processes.
- Perform tasks involving soldering and epoxy application as needed.
- Ensure quality standards are met through meticulous inspection and testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills
- 1 year of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- 6+ months of experience using measuring tools.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus on tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical inclination, such as hobby auto mechanics or experience in medical assembly.
- Desire for career advancement in electronic or gearmotor assembly.

Work Environment
The work environment is a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing space with bench assembly for mechanical brakes, gear motors, and drives. The company leads in automation technology, offering a low volume, high product mix setting. Assemblers will handle multiple products per day, requiring keen attention to detail due to the many product variations. The facility is spacious with separated departments, ensuring a well-organized workflow. Dress code includes wearing gloves to protect hands from oils and adhesives.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.45/hr.
