Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Length: 13-week contract with potential to convert to permanent

Job Description:
TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ambulatory Service Representative II to join a pediatric hospital in Houston, TX. In this role, you will perform patient registration, verify insurance benefits, schedule appointments, and provide excellent support to patients, staff, and providers. You will also assist with office and clinic operations to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient registration procedures and ensure all necessary forms are completed.
  • Verify insurance coverage and identify correct plan codes for accurate reimbursement.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ancillary services, and diagnostic tests.
  • Communicate with patients and staff regarding appointment status, delays, and clinic processes.
  • Provide interpreter services as needed and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
  • Support office operations including managing supplies, equipment, correspondence, and mail.
  • Ensure efficient patient throughput in exam rooms.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with at least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting; pediatric experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical and insurance terminology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate computers, software, and general clinic equipment efficiently.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
