A skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience is sought for a contract position in Santa Barbara, CA. The role is structured around a consistent 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing stable hours for dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care in the operating room with a focus on maintaining safety and patient comfort.
- Administer conscious sedation in a competent and controlled manner.
- Document patient care accurately using Epic charting software.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California State RN License.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience, with operating room and eye care experience highly preferred.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Demonstrated expertise in conscious sedation techniques.
