Job DescriptionOur client in Pittsburgh is looking to hire a Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer.

Job Description:

- Create high quality designs for numerous projects and clients.
- Complete design of plumbing and fire protection systems for interior and exterior projects.
- Work with internal design team and comply with industry standards, while also providing support for engineering staff and project managers.
- Work with AutoCAD and Revit on daily basis

Job Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of work experience in plumbing/fire protection engineering
- Previous leadership/supervisory experience required
- Ability to complete designs of plumbing and fire protection systems
- Ability to create plans, schematics, equipment selection, calculations, systems narratives and specifications, system design and layout, field investigation and construction administration.
- Proficient working with Revit
- Strong understanding of local building codes and standards, including International Plumbing Code, National Fuel Gas Code, and NFPA
