Power Distribution Technician
Pay: $31.00–$38.75/hr (experience-based) + benefits & 401K
Shifts: 5:45 PM–6:00 AM (Nights) or 5:45 AM–6:00 PM (Days) | 2-2-3 fixed schedule
Location: Clarksville, TN
We are hiring an experienced Power Distribution Technician in Clarksville, TN to support high and medium voltage systems in a large industrial environment. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting switchgear, breakers, transformers, underground cables, SCADA systems, and protective relays.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform high/medium voltage maintenance, isolation, switching, and grounding (up to 6.9kV)
- Troubleshoot switchgear, breakers, transformers, and power distribution equipment
- Diagnose automation and control systems including SCADA, relays, VFDs, and instrumentation
- Conduct preventive maintenance including infrared surveys and testing
- Maintain drawings, documentation, calibration logs, and test records
- Support continuous improvement and mentor junior personnel
Requirements:
- 4+ years industrial maintenance experience
- Strong high/medium voltage troubleshooting skills
- Experience with SCADA systems, protective relays, and NETA-style testing
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
- High school diploma or GED
