Salary Range: $65,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, covering safety, quality, operational procedures, and equipment operation.
  • Assess training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analysis, and feedback from production supervisors and employees.
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, hands-on exercises, and e-learning modules.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Track and report on training completion rates, effectiveness, and impact on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as safety incidents, quality defects, and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to ensure training content is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Evaluate and select external training providers or resources as needed.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs for manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in training.
  • Experience with adult learning methodologies and instructional design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop relevant curriculum.
  • Proficiency in training administration and record-keeping systems.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with learning management systems (LMS) for tracking and reporting training completion.
  • - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and their integration into training programs.
  • - Certification in a relevant training methodology (e.g., CPTD, ATD certifications).
  • - Experience developing and facilitating train-the-trainer programs for subject matter experts.
  • - Proficiency in multimedia training development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Camtasia).
