Job Responsibilities:

• Supervisor all employees in your department and manage the flow of production
• Forward thinking and self-motivated in continuous improvement production systems.
• Assure 5S throughout facility
• Focus on improving product and process capability
• Able to coach and give disciplinary notices to employees when necessary.
• Schedule and post overtime requirements when necessary.
• Liaison to Team Leaders on all Shifts (Coach, Lead, & Direct)
• Willing to accept phone calls during off hours
• Actively participate in all aspects of quality control as it relates to daily production
• Involved in problem solving and corrective actions related to production issues.
• Verify work standards / set up sheets, quality checkpoint sheets and all other production related documents are present at the point of use and up to date and employees follow them.
• Analyze repairs and scrap trends on daily basis and implement immediate and long term corrective actions to achieve yearly scrap goals and plant efficiency.
• Monitor vacation/bonus days and attendance of employees in your department.
• Update and assess employee-training matrix at all times.
• Lead and audit shop floor safety and training for employees in your department
• Supports, enforces and complies with all company policies and procedures. • In charge of completing performance evaluations on employees.
• Administer ADP Etime/Payroll
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Skills Required
Minimum 1 year previous supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment
Education Required
High school required
Bachelor's or associates preferred
Additional Information
These positions could be temp-to-perm based on successful performance and future 2026 budgeting considerations. Now slated till the end of July/
Shift Details: First shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (hourly associates are here during this time) Supervisors will follow a similar schedule and participate in the OT rotation: as early as 5:00 AM and as late as 5:30 PM on some days Supervisors will be part of the OT rotation, so could work as early as 5 am some days and as late as 5:30 pm other days.
Position Requirements: Production/Operations Supervisor Minimum of 1 year, preferably 3 years, of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution center facility Experience supervising in a union facility is a plus Supervise 2–3 production lines assembling axles, managing up to 40 associates Ability to manage production schedules and expedite critical items Strong computer skills for managing timekeeping/payroll system (A
