Position Summary
We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Graphic Designer to join our Design and Development team. In this full-time role, you will design and produce environmental graphics, signage, and digital assets for a diverse range of attraction projects within the Ripley brand. You’ll collaborate closely with creative, attraction design, and print teams to deliver graphics for everything from small vinyl decals to immersive multimedia displays and large-scale banners. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team environment. This is an IN-OFFICE role located in Orlando, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and present creative concepts and graphic elements for various projects.
- Create preliminary design concepts and presentations for stakeholder review and approval.
- Prepare final design files for print production, ensuring correct materials and specifications.
- Generate innovative ideas for photo opportunities, exhibit displays, wall treatments, and interactive experiences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant graphic design experience, with strong emphasis/experience in museums, theme parks, attractions, or location-based entertainment projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven ability to take projects from concept through to production-ready artwork.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with AI design tools for concept development and generating graphic files.
- Strong design sensibility, with expertise in typography, composition, and color.
- Solid understanding of print file preparation, including bleed, trim, and cut paths.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills (Pluses)
- Knowledge of various printing materials and processes.
- Experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp (a plus but not required).
- Proficiency in copywriting or editing.
